Vitality Table Lamp

Every big world event inspire designers to process the status quo, and a re-birth of unique designs appear on the market.

The Vitality table lamp is our reaction to the constant news feeds and information from around the globe with regards to the Covid19 Pandemic.

The lungs are raw bisque on the exterior and Bronze on the inside. What we wanted to symbolize with the bisque exterior is the fragility of the human organ that we need for our survival. The interior is bronze which means it is as precious as gold.

The Matte Black powder coated steel light frame has been designed in co0llaboration with Jovan from The Artisan, and shows our resilience as a human species to overcome obstacles and threats to our mere existence. With the globe shining straight into the lungs we put emphasis on a time when our existence was challenged and how much innovation was born out of this challenge.
