Meaning relating to or denoting energy derived from the sun's rays. We have created a contemporary dining serve ware set , with our original Big Bang Effect. We wanted to explore creating a technique that emulates the build up of cloud formations. This is what we created in the end where every plate is glazed differently, making each one unique.
In the pictures attached we are showing the different ways they are coming out. These examples are just the look, and the ones you will get will have the same feeling, but will never look exactly the same.

Big bang and Skye Grey Products are double or triple glazed applications and the effect is organically created in the kiln. In terms of the patterns it organically makes, or the high's and lows that take effect in production, makes each item produced UNIQUE and part of the design. These are not quality defects, it is the beauty of handmade, organic craftsmanship.
