Why the 'Buy Local' movement matters

2020 has been an unusual year for all of us in the retail space. Covid-19 has had massive economical impact across the globe for retailers, but for consumers it’s given them more space to consider what they are buying and from where. Meet Hillary, our Senior Castor

Hillary has worked on our farm, Clairvaux, in Robertson for over four years. We recently sat down with him to get to know him a bit better and find out what inspires him. What is your favourite part of the job? I love working with the products and creating something new. One of my favourite lines is the Pig Bowl with all the intricate detailing involved. Once we remove the pig from the mould, I then put the ears and the bowl on the back.  What are your dreams for the future?
